I have two and a half years Final Cut Studio experience and confidently use Avid Media Composer/Xpress too. I have edited on everything from laptops to small-scale systems with media drives to bepoke edit suites connected to SANs. I have a working knowledge of HD formats and decks. I have strong narrative skills, providing creative editing with attention to detail and mood. I'm used to cutting autonomously, from paper edit and working with Director/Producers. My skills palette also includes motion graphics creation (currently with Motion3, also learning Adobe After Effects), image manipulation with Photoshop CS3 and conversion to web formats using Compressor/Sorenson Squeeze. High Definition editing and tapeless acquistion are the future. A2B is very much part of that future, keeping pace with technological advances, editing in HD and pioneering Final Cut Pro for broadcast use.
